Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Submarine Forward Electronics System Analyst to support MARMC in Norfolk, VA. The role focuses on collecting and analyzing submarine maintenance data from multiple DoD sources, building databases, and generating actionable insights to improve maintainability.

The analyst will work with SMEs and RMCs to validate data, develop dashboards, and produce formal Maintainability Reports. A secret clearance is required to perform this role.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of full-time experience in Navy program acquisition and lifecycle support.
• Three (3) years of full-time experience in Submarine Forward Electronic Systems acquisition and lifecycle support.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret US government clearance. Note: US citizenship is required to obtain a secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Research, collect, and organize submarine maintenance data from DoD/DON applications.
• Consolidate data into databases and develop algorithms to enhance databases.
• Clean data and maintain databases for accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure data integrity.
• Analyze maintenance data trends to identify insights into submarine maintainability issues.
• Transform data into charts and tables to depict maintainability issues.
• Collaborate with SMEs and RMCs to review data and identify solutions.
• Generate maintainability reports to support decision-making.
• Review MFOM Data, TAVRs, CASREPs, 2-Kilos, and STAARS FTA/Maintenance data and provide technical support.
• Investigate maintenance issues and prepare reports with recommendations.
• Conduct onboard assessments and develop formal Maintainability Reports.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
