Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Submarine Technician to join the Submarine Technical Support Center in Groton, CT. You will work with a team to maintain the U.S.

Navy’s Submarine Force Warfighting Capability, providing troubleshooting, testing, repair, and maintenance oversight across major submarine systems and equipment. The role requires significant hands-on experience on LOS ANGELES and VIRGINIA class platforms, strong analytical and communication skills, and an active Top Secret

Qualifications

• Six years of full-time engineering experience onboard submarines in operation, maintenance, installation, test, or repair of combat systems.
• Eight years of full-time technical experience in mechanical/electrical/electronic systems.
• Experience with CSRR components and fleet maintenance practices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical services including troubleshooting, testing, operation, repair/overhaul, maintenance oversight, installation, training, and grooming for submarine systems.
• Support direct fleet operations for 688 and 774 Class submarines.
• Ensure compliance with CSRR policies and procedures and maintain security clearance.
