Serco Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Non-Propulsion Electronics Systems (NPES) Engineer to support U.S. Navy submarine operations and advanced undersea warfare systems.
This role suits former Navy Fire Control Technician or Fire Controlman with submarine experience. You will apply hands-on Navy expertise to operate, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate fire control and combat systems, coordinate with Navy personnel and industry partners, and support test plans, documentation, and
Qualifications
- 5+ years of work experience in DoD/Armed Services or DoW environment.
- Prior U.S. Navy experience as FT/FC or equivalent in submarine combat or fire control systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field as listed.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and operational expertise on Navy submarine fire control, combat control, and associated weapons systems.
- Support operation, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and evaluation of fire control and combat system equipment.
- Analyze system performance and help identify, isolate, and resolve hardware, software, and integration issues.
- Coordinate with Navy operators, engineers, government stakeholders, and industry partners to resolve technical issues.
- Prepare technical reports, briefings, presentations, and other program documentation.
