Job summary

Serco Inc. seeks a seasoned Non-Propulsion Electronics Systems (NPES) Engineer to support U.S. Navy submarine operations and undersea warfare systems.

The role targets former Navy Fire Control Technicians or Fire Controlmen with hands-on experience who understand the mission requirements of modern submarine combat systems. The NPES engineer will apply Navy expertise to support operation, maintenance, testing, and evaluation of fire control and combat systems, coordinating with Navy personnel,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years’ DoW/Armed Services experience.
• Experience with Navy fire control or combat systems.
• Ability to travel 25%.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise on Navy submarine fire control and combat systems.
• Support operation, maintenance, testing, and evaluation of systems.
• Analyze performance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
• Coordinate with Navy, government, and industry partners.
• Prepare technical reports and briefings.
