Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat seeks a Test Supervisor to lead a team of Electronics Technicians in testing Combat and Weapons Systems cabling onboard submarines. You will coordinate staffing, mentor technicians, and ensure testing aligns with safety, quality, and schedule goals.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and the ability to interface with multiple departments and navy personnel. Submarine environment experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 4 years of electrical/electronic trades or shipyard test experience.
• Experience with EWP CPI SPI and Work Order processing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead Electronics Test employees in testing Combat and Weapons Systems cabling and components on submarines.
• Coordinate department staffing among project Chief Test Engineers.
• Serve as primary contact for testing needs between Chief Test Engineer and Electronics Technicians.
• Interface with engineering, quality, and naval personnel to support tasks.
• Lead the team in safety, quality, cost, schedule and process improvement.
