Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree.
• Minimum 5 years of submarine electrical engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain TOP SECRET with SCI eligibility and pass a counterintelligence polygraph examination.

Responsibilities

• Lead a group of electrical engineers providing design and life cycle support for submarine electrical systems.
• Develop ship modernization design packages including wiring diagrams, cabling diagrams and component drawings.
• Provide engineering input for creation and revision of technical documents such as manuals, drawings and maintenance procedures.
• Oversee project budgets and schedules; coordinate with Design, EB, customers and program offices.
• Support design reviews and program reviews with NAVSEA; some travel is required.
