Job summary

Atlas Tech seeks a highly motivated Engineering Technician to support the AN/BYG-1 Submarine Combat Control System. The role is full-time and based in Groton, CT, with up to 10% travel. You will perform testing, integration, and maintenance activities, working closely with DoD/naval standards.

Requirements include U.S. citizenship and a DoD Secret clearance. Experience with networking gear and Windows servers is essential, along with the ability to lift 50 lbs and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing networking equipment and Windows servers/workstations.
• Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering task support for AN/BYG-1 system per specs.
• Support systems engineering with SME input.
• Assist testing/evaluations; perform validations/verifications.
• Assist in disassembly/reassembly/install/testing of AN/BYG-1 system.
• Assist with Engineering Change Instructions (ECIs).
• Develop data for PMS, technical manuals, procedures, drawings, and maintainability improvements.
• Be on-site interface for installation, testing, survey, and other tasks as needed.
• Ensure adherence to documentation standards and review change proposals.
