Job summary

Atlas Tech is seeking an AN/BYG-1 Submarine Combat Control System Engineering Technician to support ongoing submarine modernization efforts. This full-time role is based out of Groton, CT and involves on-site installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, and operation per DoD and U.S. Navy procedures.

The position requires hands-on networking equipment and Windows server/workstation experience, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing computer networking equipment and Windows servers/workstations.
• Experience implementing DoD and Navy maintenance procedures and system instructions.
• Must be able to travel up to 10% and perform physically demanding tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site engineering support for installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, and operation of the AN/BYG-1 Submarine Combat System.
• Support systems engineering activities with SME input and perform validations/verifications.
• Assist in disassembly/reassembly, testing, and testing of the Combat System; assist with ECIs.
