Serco Inc. seeks an Acoustic Engineer to support the Navy's VIRGINIA Class Submarine program at the Washington Navy Yard.

You will join the Acoustics Systems Integration Team, providing technical and programmatic support, liaison with NAVSEA, and leading discussions for design reviews and audits. Requirements include an active Secret clearance, a relevant engineering degree with 5+ years of experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 10%.

Competenze

• Active Secret clearance and U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, math, physics or related discipline with 5 years of experience.
• Ability to brief senior leaders and interact with program officials.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and strong analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.

Mansioni

• Support PMS450 evaluation of proposed designs and arrangements.
• Maintain expert knowledge of ship specification sections and interpret technical requirements.
• Review engineering submittals, provide assessments, and consolidate viewpoints.
• Lead or co-lead program reviews and customer briefings on cost, schedule and technical performance.
• Provide acquisition management planning and execution support.
