Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking an Acoustic Engineer to join the Acoustics Systems Integration Team (PMS450) on the VIRGINIA Class Submarine program at the Washington Navy Yard.

You will support design evaluation, maintain expert ship-spec knowledge, and coordinate with NAVSEA and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and drive program success. Applicants should hold an active Secret clearance, have a engineering degree with 5 years' experience, and be proficient in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance and U.S. Citizenship.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 5 years' experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to brief senior leaders.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support evaluation of proposed designs and arrangements.
• Liaise with NAVSEA teams and other stakeholders.
• Lead program review sessions with the customer.
• Provide acquisition management planning and execution support.
• Prepare and deliver formal briefings.
• Act as primary customer contact for project status.
