Job summary

A&K Designs, Inc. is seeking a Sublimation Technician to turn digital artwork into high-quality, customer-ready garments in our Portland, OR area facility.

You will manage file prep, color accuracy, and production troubleshooting in a team-focused environment. The role emphasizes fast-paced workflows, precise detail, and hands-on fabric decoration experience.

Sublimation Technician (AKA Print Wizard Extraordinaire)

Do you love seeing designs come to life? Are you the kind of person who notices when a color is just slightly off or enjoys solving equipment puzzles before anyone else spots them? If so, we want YOU on our team! We're looking for a Sublimation Technician to help prepare files for custom sports apparel, garment and related graphic embellishments. You'll be the mastermind behind turning digital artwork into vibrant, high-quality products our customers love.

What You'll Do

• Transform artwork and customer files into print-ready masterpieces
• Monitor color quality, image placement, and print accuracy throughout production
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and keep production running smoothly
• Load inks, transfer papers, substrates, and other production materials
• Inspect finished products to ensure they're customer-ready and company-approved
• Collaborate with teammates and communicate production updates

• Basic Photoshop skills
• Experience with Optitex, CAD, or apparel pattern software
• Knowledge of sublimation inks, transfer papers, and production materials

Our regular work schedule is Monday - Thursday, 6:00am to 3:15pm and Friday, 6:00am to 11:00am

Compensation: $20.00 - $26.50 per hour
