Job description

We are seeking a hands‑on and detail‑oriented Dye Sublimation Manager to lead our dye sublimation production operations. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of orders, high‑quality output, efficient workflow, and that this is all done with profitable business outcomes in mind. Your leadership will drive team performance, optimize production schedules, and implement lean manufacturing principles to meet customer demands and uphold our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and coordinate all aspects of dye sublimation production, including planning, scheduling, and execution to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Calculate yardage and estimated turn‑around time based on garment yields, equipment and team speeds, style difficulty, etc.
  • Thoroughly comprehend tech pack information and accurately communicate relevant information to subordinates
  • Prepare graphics for vision laser, and clean up and modify customer artwork to best practices based on our equipment.
  • Produce color matching samples and strike offs for customer approval.
  • Create graphics for print production.
  • Manage operation of vision laser cutting machines used to process printed materials (PAW will provide training).
  • Coordinate and manage subordinate employees to carry out production printing, pressing, and for certain jobs laser cutting and adhesive lamination.
  • Supervise a small team of operators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster a high‑performing work environment.
  • Ensure there's an effective QC System in place and that the team follows it precisely.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Sewing, Screen Printing and Pre‑production departments.
  • Ensure a robust equipment maintenance system is in place and followed as scheduled.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Dye sublimation processes in a supervisory capacity.
  • Technical knowledge in fabric laser cutting a Plus but not required.
  • Strong scheduling capabilities and the ability to efficiently collaborate and work with a diverse group of people.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and decision‑making support.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator
  • Excellent team leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster cross‑functional communication.
  • Solid understanding of quality control standards within manufacturing processes to ensure product consistency and compliance.
  • Must pass the Farnsworth Munsell 100 Hue Test to ensure optimal ability to distinguish color
  • Ability to work in a fast‑pace environment where pivoting, refocusing and re‑prioritizing is part of the day‑to‑day business.
