Qualifications

• Expertise in Coast Guard logistics data and Sector Allowancing.
• Advanced NESSS proficiency and related data handling.
• Strong understanding of Coast Guard policies and data.
• Experience interpreting management codes, configuration data, and material demand.
• Experience supporting logistics, inventory or material readiness.
• Ability to advise Government personnel and resolve complex supply issues.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide SME-level support for Coast Guard logistics data, supply management, and Sector Allowancing processes.
• Review inventory item management codes within NESSS.
• Analyze configuration data, item usage, and supply records for accuracy and compliance.
• Develop and validate Sector allowance levels for materials in NESSS.
• Identify obsolete or excess material and recommend disposal actions.
• Validate Coast Guard material demand within NESSS to support readiness.
• Assess changes to Sector allowances based on requirements and data.
• Collaborate with SFLC Asset Logistics Division to resolve logistics/supply issues.
• Review SAS allowance reports to support decisions and improvement.
• Provide guidance and training on logistics data, NESSS, and best practices.
• Serve as SME for complex supply management challenges.
• Provide SME input on supply and finance system requirements for modernization projects.
