iDesign is seeking qualified Data Analytics Subject Matter Experts to help develop content for an introductory undergraduate program serving learners from high school dual credit to advanced undergraduate levels. SME assignments are contract, part-time, temporary, and on an as-needed basis. This is a remote, project-based, 1099 contractor position. Full-time positions are not guaranteed. Applicants must be located in the Eastern, Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zones.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with Instructional Designers to create research-based online courses suitable for high school dual-credit students and undergraduates.
• Design and review instructional content, assessments, and activities reflecting real-world data analytics applications.
• Recommend and validate open-source tools like Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Partner with project team members to meet deadlines and ensure quality.
• Participate in regular check-ins and deliver work on schedule.

What You Need

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred. Equivalent experience considered.
• At least 3 years of professional or teaching experience in data analytics or visualization.
• Familiarity with Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI.
• Experience designing online learning content for early learners, including dual-credit high school students.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with reliable communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with collaborative tools like Google Docs, Sheets, and Drive.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python or other programming languages.
• Knowledge of adult learning theories and course development principles.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
