Description: Agile5 Technologies is seeking a Delivery Manager to lead an Exploration and Performance Evaluation test team, utilizing agile methodologies to deliver high-quality products and drive continuous improvement. This role involves collaborating with the Product Manager to define roadmaps, leading planning processes, and matrix-managing a multi-disciplinary team focused on continuous testing and technical solution exploration. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and collaboration skills, experience in agile environments, and a background in performance testing and release management.
Delivery Manager Subject Matter Expert Job Duties
Deliver projects and products using the appropriate agile project management methodology, learning and iterating frequently.
Work with the Product Manager to define the roadmap for products and translate this into user stories.
Lead the collaborative, dynamic planning process, prioritizing work against team capacity and capability.
Matrix-manage a multi-disciplinary team.
Ensure products are built to an appropriate level of quality for each stage (alpha/beta/production).
Actively and openly share knowledge of best practices.
Participate in scrum teams comprised of government and contractor employees.
Collaborate with Business Owners and customers to manage continuous operational testing and functional evaluation.
Conduct full system integration and performance testing in preproduction environments in collaboration with the System of Systems Functional Test Team.
Ensure product readiness and coordination across preproduction and production environments.
Manage releases.
Perform performance optimization, system troubleshooting, and application/transaction optimization on preproduction and production environments.
Work with team features pulled from a dynamic product backlog.
Security Clearance Requirements: Active DoD Secret (S) required. Candidates must already possess this clearance level upon applying.
Experience Requirements: Requires 12-15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10-13 years of prior relevant experience, the ability to work collaboratively and independently to develop creative solutions within a small team. Candidates must be US citizens and hold a DOD Secret Clearance.
Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, other related discipline, or equivalent experience; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Desired Skills / Qualifications: ITIL Certifications, Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) preferred. Experience with Linux, Jira and Confluence.
Location: Remote except in California, Colorado, New Jersey and New York.
Status: Full time
Schedule: Day shift, MondayFriday
Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long durations of time. Also, must be able to continuously operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
