Job summary
The City of Rockingham invites applications for a Land Development Inspection Officer – Subdivisions. You will assess construction, dust, noise and environmental plans, conduct subdivision inspections and ensure civil works meet approved plans, specs and legislation.
You will work with developers and contractors, providing specialist advice on engineering conditions and monitoring compliance throughout the process.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of subdivision infrastructure: earthworks, roads and drainage.
- Supervising subdivision civil works to ensure compliance with drawings, specs and statutory requirements.
- Effective communication and negotiation with developers, consultants, contractors and subcontractors.
- Diploma in Civil Engineering (or related discipline) or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Assess Construction, Dust, Noise and Environmental Management Plans and undertake subdivision inspections.
- Ensure civil works are delivered in accordance with approved plans, specifications and legislation.
- Provide specialist advice on engineering conditions and monitor compliance across all subdivision stages.
- Resolve technical issues and contribute to safe, sustainable infrastructure outcomes.
