Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Subcontracts Representative to support mildly complex subcontract development and administration for proposals and projects within the Subcontracts Group.

The role covers development, bid evaluation, negotiation, and contract conformance, with responsibilities spanning both development and administration streams and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Formación

• High school diploma preferred.
• BA or BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Purchasing, Business, Technical or related field preferred.
• Two (2) years of relevant industry experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares subcontract related bid documents and bidders list.
• Conveys basic to moderately complex scoping information to Subcontractors with oversight as needed.
• Manages the bid evaluation process through the distribution of proposals to evaluators, preparation of the bid tabulation, and collaboration with the team on the evaluation.
• Schedules, coordinates and manages the negotiation process with oversight.
• Begins to resolve simple and mildly complex commercial terms and conditions exceptions.
• Coordinates the award and contract conforming process.
• Ensures subcontractor compliance with Prequalification requirements.
• Run kick off and progress meetings; draft/issue meeting minutes for assigned subcontracts
• Draft/log formal correspondence for assigned subcontracts
• Perform Change Management duties for assigned subcontracts
• Review and process invoices
• Closeout assigned subcontracts
