Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years in Subcontracts Management, Procurement, Program Management, Contracts Management or Business Management; Master’s Degree with a minimum of 3 years; High School Diploma with a minimum of 9 years combined experience.
Experience FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and DFARS knowledge, data rights negotiations, and commercial item determinations.
Experience in Contracts or Subcontracts in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
Experience leading a team, process and/or projects.
Experience with SAP or related purchasing software, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project.

Responsibilities

Lead a Subcontracts Team of ~7 procurement professionals.
Be the main focal point for all Procurement/Subcontract activities within the portfolio.
Coach and grow team members’ careers.
Support all phases of acquisitions including RFPs, contracts, negotiations and closeout.
Act as SME for acquisition activities and contract terms.
Identify risks and provide analyses to management.
Create trainings to close knowledge gaps in compliance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Legal and Contracts.
