Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. in Linthicum Heights, MD seeks a Subcontracts Manager 2 to lead the Mechanical and Cables/Connectors Subcontracts Team within Mission Systems.

You will oversee end-to-end procurement, align with program teams, and drive supplier performance to meet tight deadlines. As a manager, you will mentor staff, negotiate and administer complex procurements, ensure compliance with PrOP and government regs, and collaborate with the Category Management leadership to achieve department

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree with 6+ years of supply chain/subcontracts/procurement/PM/Manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a team lead or direct manager of people.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• US Citizenship required and ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team performing all phases of subcontracts and procurement, including RFQ strategy and meeting deadlines.
• Manage relationships with suppliers to support program performance objectives.
• Oversee execution of procurements and subcontracts with compliance to PrOP and government regs.
• Collaborate with Category Management leadership to achieve department goals.
