Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Senior Principal Contract Administrator for our Linthicum, MD area offices. This onsite role offers a 9/80 work schedule and significant visibility across Mission Systems contracts, including negotiations with customers and coordination with multiple internal teams.

The successful candidate will manage contract life cycles, review RFPs, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARs and company policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience or Master’s with 6+ years.
Experience with government contracting and FAR/DFARs.
Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat; ability to travel 10%.

Responsibilities

Administer, extend, negotiate and terminate standard and nonstandard contracts.
Act as primary interface with customer for contractual issues.
Support proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and contract administration.
Review RFPs to understand SOW/contract requirements and advise the program team.
Review terms to address financial, delivery, IP, termination provisions and risks.
Ensure proposals are fully responsive and coordinate reviews for approvals.
Manage proposal fact-finding and negotiations with customer support.
Collaborate with finance, supply chain, legal, and other groups during contract lifecycle.
Develop solutions to routine and complex contractual matters; ensure compliance.
Prepare and manage written communications for contractual matters.
Maintain contract data in CM/Enterprise Accounting Systems.
