Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions (CGS) in Chesapeake, VA seeks a Subcontracts Manager to oversee pre-award and post-award subcontracting for prime contracts. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, contracts and contracting, purchasing, economics, supply chain management, or related field.
• Four years of specialized subcontracting experience focusing on Federal/Gov’t contracts.
• Proficient knowledge with the FAR, DFARS and other regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in MS Office and automated procurement systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of subcontracting for prime contracts.
• Lead negotiations with subcontractors and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Prepare, issue, and maintain subcontracts in the procurement system.
• Provide pre-award and post-award support and reporting.
• Mentor Subcontract Specialists and support the Procurement Manager.
