Job summary

Bechtel Corporation in Brownsville, TX seeks a Subcontracts professional to participate in formation and administration of subcontracts on the Rio Grande LNG project. You will lead bid package preparation, develop contracts operating procedures, and ensure subcontractor compliance with project requirements.

Responsibilities include managing the assignment schedule, gathering data for bid documents, supporting negotiation for small-value contracts, and preparing reports.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of procurement regulations, policies and practices.
• Pricing, contract law, negotiations and accounting.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with Bechtel policies, procedures and work practices.
• Experience developing contract types, fee arrangements and terms.

Responsibilities

• Implements the Supply Chain Assignment Schedule and Standard Work Process Procedures for Subcontract Management.
• Gathers and compiles data for preparation of subcontract documents and management.
• Assists Subcontract Manager in completing tasks per the Contract/Subcontract Management Guidebook.
• Monitors subcontract performance areas as assigned.
• Investigates subcontract problems and prepares status reports.
• Organizes materials for meetings and training and supports Bechtel tools.
• Supports subcontract formation and administration within the project framework.
