Job summary

Bechtel invites applications for a Subcontract Manager role based in Brownsville, TX, supporting the Rio Grande LNG project. You will lead subcontract formation and administration, prepare bid packages, and ensure compliance with project requirements.

Responsibilities include managing small-value subcontracts, negotiating terms, developing subcontract documents, and coordinating meetings and reporting with Bechtel and clients. Requires a bachelor's degree and 5–8 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of procurement regulations, policies and practices.
• Experience in pricing, contract law, negotiations and accounting.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and review of bid request packages and develop contract procedures.
• Administer subcontracts with ongoing progress forecasting and reporting.
• Support subcontract professionals and monitor performance per procedures.
• Organize meetings, presentations and training; maintain status reports.
• Collaborate with Digital Supply Chain and automation tools.
• Prepare and issue subcontracts and services agreements as assigned.
• Assist with negotiations and ensure compliance with project requirements.
