Job summary

First Point Group is seeking a subcontract manager for an on-site Chandler, AZ project in manufacturing/tech. You will manage the full lifecycle of EPC subcontracts, issue RFx packages, evaluate bids, and lead negotiations with subcontractors to ensure alignment with project execution.

The role requires experience with LSTK, T&M and UR contract types, along with an understanding of service procurement and contract law in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of service acquisition regulations, policies and practices.
• Training or experience in pricing, contract law, negotiations and accounting.
• Working knowledge of engineering/construction industry contracting practices.
• Experience in developing contract types and terms (LSTK, T&M, UR).
• Industrial/manufacturing experience preferred.

Job description

Location: Chandler, AZ (Onsite/Office Project)

Client: Manufacturing & Technology supporting / Semicon Fab Project

• Manage the full lifecycle of EPC subcontract formation and administration, including sourcing, bidding, negotiations, award, and ongoing subcontract management.
• Prepare and issue RFP packages, coordinate bidder questions, evaluate proposals, and develop commercial bid summaries and award recommendations.
• Administer large construction subcontracts by monitoring progress, cost, schedule, compliance, and contractor performance.
• Lead subcontract negotiations, change orders, amendments, claims resolution, and commercial discussions with subcontractors.
• Partner with Engineering, Construction, Project Controls, Procurement, and Field teams to ensure subcontract requirements align with project execution.
• Support semiconductor manufacturing facility construction projects by managing complex subcontract agreements and contractor relationships.
• Track subcontract financial performance, scope changes, commitments, risks, and forecast impacts for project leadership.
• Ensure compliance with Bechtel contracting procedures, project policies, and EPC subcontract administration standards.
• Provide reporting, documentation, and contract governance to support successful delivery of large-scale advanced manufacturing projects.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of service acquisition & procurement regulations, policies and practices.
• Demonstrated training or experience in pricing, contract law, negotiations and accounting.
• Working knowledge of engineering/construction industry contracting practices.
• Experience in developing contract types (including LSTK, T&M and UR), fee arrangements and contract terms.
• Industrial experience in manufacturing is preferred
