The Subcontracts Lead is responsible for the entire lifecycle of a subcontract, from sourcing and acquisition strategy development, through solicitation, negotiation, award, management, and closeout. The role covers diverse customer segments including U.S. Federal Government, Commercial, International Governments, and Defense, both domestic and international. The Subcontracts Lead manages various subcontract types such as fixed-price, cost reimbursement, and time & materials, to mitigate risks for the company and clients. Responsibilities include developing acquisition strategies, SOW development, solicitation, source selection, negotiation, documentation, and managing subcontractor performance. Additional duties involve change management, risk mitigation, property management, transportation, invoice processing, and supporting business development activities like negotiations of NDAs and teaming agreements, and due diligence on bidders. The role also supports audits and compliance requirements.
