Base pay range

$30.00/hr - $30.00/hr

Subject Matter Expert(SME) I Talent Management | People Analytics | Recruitment | Employer branding

Must be a US Citizen.

Performs full range of procurement and administration activities associated with subcontracting work. Under direct supervision, the candidate will qualify suppliers, issue requests for proposals, evaluate proposals, and maintain subcontract files in accordance with established procedures. Displays core job competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Qualifying subcontractors
  2. Issuing requests for information (RFIs)
  3. Preparing subcontract documents and amendments, including identification and inclusion of flow down requirements from the prime contract.
  4. Performing commercial evaluations of proposals.
  5. Issuing properly authorized awards/subcontracts.
  6. Cradle to grave subcontract management (pre-award to file closeout).
  7. Serving as liaison between subcontractor and project manager.
  8. Issuing requests for proposals (Request for Proposal R-FPs).
Required Skills
  1. Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
  2. Customer service oriented
  3. Proficient in the use of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
  4. A working knowledge of the various types of contracts, including Cost Reimbursable, Firm Fixed Price, and Time and Materials types.
  5. Ability to work in a team environment
  6. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the company organization
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure
  8. Ability to be flexible and embrace change
  9. Self-motivated and takes initiative
Required Education

Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree or 1-2 years equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
