Job summary

Bechtel's Manufacturing and Technology (M&T) unit is designing, building and commissioning a semiconductor fab in Clay, NY. The role focuses on subcontract formation and administration, ensuring compliance with project requirements and effective communication across teams.

You will lead bid requests, review bid tabulations, negotiate contract changes, and monitor progress and costs. A bachelor's degree and 10–13 (or 14–17) years of experience in relevant procurement are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 10–13 years of relevant experience or 14–17 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with major commodities for Semiconductor, Datacenter, BatteryManufacturing or Life Science projects.
• Background as a lead auditor for supplier quality systems.
• Knowledge of ISO9001, IATF16949, AS9100, ISO13485.

Responsibilities

• Subcontract management and administration to ensure project requirements are met.
• Lead preparation of bid request packages and ensure proper vendor selections.
• Negotiate and manage complex contract changes with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with project staff on contractual rights, obligations and performance.
