Headquartered in Reston, VA, the company seeks a capable Area Project Engineer to lead cross-functional design teams, coordinate with A/E, and ensure constructability while aligning with project controls and procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) OR professional license and 10–13 years of relevant experience, or 14–17 years in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional team overseeing sub-fab lateral design across structural, process, piping, electrical, and controls.
• Coordinate with third-party A/E and lead disciplines to ensure design meets project requirements.
• Establish detailed execution plan for lateral scope and support engineering budget and schedule.
• Ensure constructability, off-site manufacturing, and startup requirements are incorporated during design.
• Coordinate design schedule and deliverables with project controls and procurement.
