Job summary

Rosendin is seeking a proactive Subcontract Specialist to manage subcontracts, change orders, and related documentation. You will work with multiple departments to ensure timely, accurate processing and strong supplier partnerships, contributing to competitive project execution.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, negotiation, and procurement expertise, with growth across high-profile electrical construction projects. 0–10% travel; on-site work in CA may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years' construction purchasing experience or contract administrator experience, preferably in electrical construction.
• Can be a combination of education, training and relevant experience.
• Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
• Understanding of negotiation, networking and dealing with numbers, plus sustainability, risk management, and ethics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement procedures; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Examine and confirm departmental subcontracts and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Determine method to process subcontract based on dollar amount and timelines.
• Address discrepancies and ensure compliance in documentation.
• Issue and maintain agreements including subcontracts and change orders.
• Participate in developing department instructions, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct subcontract-related audits to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with management to maintain subcontractor partnerships.
• Collect and summarize subcontract and project data for management reports.
• Coordinate with departments on issuance of agreements and changes.
