Job summary

Secor Subaru in New London, CT is seeking an experienced Lube Technician to join our award-winning Subaru service team. In this role you’ll perform routine maintenance, tire rotations, fluid checks, and inspections, while advancing through Subaru certification levels.

You’ll work in a modern facility with ongoing manufacturer training, a clear path for advancement, and guaranteed pay increases as you complete Subaru training. A dependable, team-oriented attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Basic automotive repair and maintenance knowledge.
• Willingness to learn and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance including oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Complete Subaru multi-point inspections and document recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Clock on/off labor operations and document repair orders accurately.
• Test drive vehicles when appropriate.
• Follow dealership and manufacturer safety procedures.
• Collaborate with Service Advisors and technicians to ensure efficient workflow.

Compensation:

• Flat Rate Pay: $23.00–$32.00 per flat-rate hour, based on experience.
• Earn Pay Increases as you complete Subaru factory training and achieve Subaru certification levels.
• Performance-based career progression with opportunities for continued wage growth.

Responsibilities:

As a Subaru Lube Technician, you will:

• Perform routine maintenance including:
  • Oil and filter changes.
  • Tire rotations.
  • Battery inspections.
  • Fluid level inspections and top-offs.
  • Air and cabin filter replacements.
• Complete Subaru multi-point vehicle inspections and accurately document recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Properly clock on and off labor operations and complete repair orders accurately.
• Test drive vehicles when appropriate.
• Follow all dealership and manufacturer safety procedures.
• Work closely with Service Advisors and fellow technicians to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:
