Job summary

Grand Junction Subaru in Grand Junction, CO is seeking an experienced Lube Technician to perform lubrication services and inspect vehicles for potential repairs. You will coordinate with the Production Foreman to ensure timely servicing while maintaining vehicle cleanliness and safety standards.

Preferred ASE certification and Subaru brand experience, along with a strong work ethic, help drive growth in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Authorized to work in the USA.
• Ability to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test.

Responsibilities

• Perform all lubrication services.
• Inspect the vehicle and refer needed repairs to the Service Advisor.
• Operate and maintain lubrication equipment.
• Process repair orders and service lifts.
• Ensure the car is clean after service.
• Verify equipment safety and proper operation, including lifts.
• Use appropriate materials and maintain safety policies.

Pay is $16.00 to $18.00 per hour.

The Lube Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $16.00 and $18.00.

Job Description

The Lube Tech will be responsible for lubricating cars in a quick, yet thorough manner, and for carrying out his responsibilities through coordination with the Production Foreman.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform all lubrication services.
• Perform thorough check of customer’s car (i.e., battery, lights, tires), referring all needed repairs and preventive maintenance to Service Advisor.
• Operate and maintain all lubrication equipment.
• Receive repair order from either the Service Salesman or the Production Foreman and proceed to service lift.
• Lubricate entire car while looking for other items which may need repair.
• Ensure that the customer’s car is kept clean.
• Make certain all equipment is in proper working order, especially the lifts.
• Use adequate, but not excessive, amounts of materials and supplies.
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.

Qualifications

Preferred

• ASE Certification and/or trade school certification.
• Subaru (or multi) brand experience.
• Strong work ethic and thrive in fast paced environment
• Ability to follow directions, willingness to learn, and mentor teammates.
• Respect for teammates and positive outlook.

Required

• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
