Job summary

Secor Subaru in New London, CT is seeking an entry-level Quick Lube Technician to start or grow your automotive career. This role offers hands-on training, growth opportunities, and a supportive shop environment with potential to become a Subaru-certified technician.

You will be part of a busy Subaru Service department and gain exposure to manufacturer training while working in a professional shop setting. Flexible, year-round position with room to advance.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Basic automotive knowledge and willingness to learn.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to follow company policies and safety procedures.
• Professional appearance and reliable attendance.
• Team player who takes pride in quality workmanship.
• Previous automotive, quick lube, vocational school, or mechanical experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks and top-offs, filter replacements, and basic vehicle inspections.
• Conduct Subaru multi-point inspections and document findings.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe service bay.
• Clock on and off labor operations; complete repair orders clearly and accurately.
• Test drive vehicles when required.
• Follow dealership safety procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
• Support the Service Department and contribute to shop efficiency.

What You'll Do:

• Perform basic maintenance services including:
