Job summary

First Team Subaru Suffolk is seeking entry-level Automotive Service Technicians to join a high-volume, dealer-owned service center. Earn competitive pay with paid factory training and opportunities to advance as you gain ASE certifications.

We offer a heated/AC shop, a supportive team environment, and opportunities to grow professionally while performing inspections, diagnostics, and road tests using factory software.

Qualifications

• ASE Certifications (at least 2) required.
• Able to perform basic automotive maintenance and service repair.
• Able to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.

Responsibilities

• Routine inspections and maintenance.
• Full automotive troubleshooting and testing.
• Use factory software to send service details to service advisors.
• Road tests for diagnosis and verification of repair.
• Attend manufacturer-required training classes.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Routine inspections and maintenance
• Full automotive trouble shooting and testing
• Continuously expanding your knowledge for new technologies and practice
• Use a computer to utilize factory software to send service details to service advisors
• Perform road tests for diagnosis of consumer's complaint and verification of repair
• Work as a Team
• Attend Manufacture-required training classes

Experience and Skills

Requirements:

• ASE Certifications (at least 2 ASE's to qualify for Factory Training!)
• Able to perform basic automotive maintenance and service repair
• Able to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• State Inspector's License a plus!

Additional Requirements:

• Posses a Driver's License with acceptable driving record
• Pass a background check and drug screening
