Job summary

Bronson Healthcare is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist for the Bronson Commons subacute rehabilitation unit in Mattawan. The PT will evaluate plans and administer prescribed therapy to improve function, reduce pain, and restore independence for patients with musculoskeletal, nerve, and joint conditions.

Candidates must graduate from an accredited Physical Therapy program, hold Michigan licensure, and have BLS within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Graduates from an accredited Physical Therapy program and licensed in Michigan.
• BLS certification within 3 months after hire; valid driver's license and vehicle for business use.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team with care providers.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care with PT activities per treatment plan; improves function and independence.
• Interdisciplinary rounds/clinics and education planning for patients and families.
• Document evaluations and treatment plans in the electronic health record.
• May supervise PTA, rehab assistants, and students; participate in process improvement.
• Cross-train and provide coverage as needed within Rehabilitation Services.
