Job summary

Bronson Healthcare is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist Assistant to support acute care rehabilitation. The PTA will follow the treatment plan, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to enhance functional independence.

Minimum requirements include graduation from a PTA program, Michigan PTA license, and BLS within 3 months. Valid MI driver's license and reliable vehicle are needed for Bronson at Home duties.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
• Licensed PTA in good standing in Michigan.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Follow the plan of care and goals established by the Physical Therapist.
• Provide direct patient care including physical, electrical, mechanical and heat treatments.
• Document in electronic health records per compliance timelines.
