Job summary

Bronson Methodist Hospital is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join the Acute Care team in Kalamazoo. The PRN role supports evaluation and treatment of patients to restore mobility, strength, and function while collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team.

The ideal candidate will have a degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program, Michigan licensure, BLS within 3 months, and a valid Michigan driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Requires degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in Michigan in good standing.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Driver's license in Michigan and daily car for business use (Bronson at Home).

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with injuries or neuromuscular conditions to restore function and independence.
• Perform and document patient evaluations and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for setting goals and progress.
• Supervise clinical staff and students, and participate in department process improvements.
