Job summary

Intercommunity Care in Norwalk, CA is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Sub-Acute experience to join our Nursing department. We offer full-time positions with AM and NOC shifts on a 4/2 rotation.

Requirements include Active CNA certification, a minimum of one year Sub-Acute experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, full COVID-19 vaccination including booster(s), and fluency in English. Good physical health is essential.

Responsibilities

• Providing personal care for residents under supervision of a licensed or registered nurse
• Assisting with activities of daily living (dressing, bathing, grooming, dining, recreation, outings)
• Maintaining unit organization and answering call lights
• Using proper body mechanics and documenting patient rounds
• Providing companionship and maintaining a clean, healthy environment
• Prioritizing patient activities based on care needs
