Job Summary

Provide courteous customer service in the sub shop and prepare orders to ensure customer satisfaction.

Essential Job Functions

1. Slice, cut, weigh merchandise, and prepare orders in a courteous manner.
2. Prepare sandwich orders to customer satisfaction.
3. Maintain the prep area and keep cases filled at all times.
4. Ensure product freshness by coding, rotating, and removing out-of-code merchandise daily.
5. Price all products legibly according to the price book.
6. Maintain and promote new items and weekly specials.
7. Communicate any temperature failures of cases and storage areas to the manager.
8. Follow established policies and procedures for the department.
9. Maintain a neat personal appearance per company dress code.
10. Greet customers and stay observant of their needs.
11. Follow all company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

Supplemental Job Functions

1. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in compliance with health regulations.
2. Assist in food preparation as needed.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
