Job summary

The Nutrition Group is seeking a substitute food service worker to support a local school kitchen/cafeteria on an as-needed basis. You will help with meal preparation, serving, and maintaining safety standards in a respectful, fast-paced environment.

Daylight hours Monday–Friday with no evenings or weekends, and holidays off. You will perform duties such as cooking and food preparation, portioning and serving, sanitation per USDA/state guidelines, HACCP compliance, inventory support, cash

Qualifications

• Must obtain clearances and pass criminal background checks.
• Ability to read recipes and basic math skills required.
• A positive and consistent work ethic.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• A willingness to learn and grow within your position.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Computer literacy preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
