Job summary

Daifuku is seeking a full-time Assembly Technician for 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:00pm - 10:30pm) in Hobart, IN. You will perform sub-assembly and packaging per drawings, inspect finished assemblies, and maintain tools and workspace.

Candidates should read blueprints, tape measures, and have basic math, QA awareness, and strong teamwork. Reading English language and safety compliance are required in this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of machine assembly experience.
• Ability to read and understand complex assembly drawings and blueprints.
• Basic computer skills and math knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Completes Sub-Assembly and packaging processes according to procedures.
• Perform sub-assembly based on drawings and supervisor instructions.
• Inspecting, operating, and testing assemblies to verify function and quality.
• Cleaning and lubricating parts and assemblies.
• Maintaining personal tool inventory and a clean work area.
• Record assembly status on a computer and follow safety rules.
