Job summary

Daifuku North America is seeking an assembler to build conveyor products on the 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm), Monday through Friday. The role requires reading tape measures and blueprints, reading schematics, and following supervisor instructions to ensure quality.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of machine assembly experience. Responsibilities include inspecting own work, recording assembly status on the computer, and adhering to Daifuku's QMS

Qualifications

• Reading and understanding complex blueprints and assembly drawings.
• Basic computer skills and record-keeping.
• Basic mathematics for measurements and quality checks.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
• Self-inspection and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Performing assembly based on drawings and supervisor instructions.
• Following supervisor's instructions for work to be performed.
• Self-inspecting work to ensure quality and conformance to specs.
• Using a computer to record assembly status.
• Adhering to safety rules and procedures.
• Working overtime and assigned shifts as needed.
• Complying with Daifuku's QMS policies and continuous improvement efforts.
