Job summary

Daifuku Intralogistics America Corporation in Hobart, IN, is seeking an assembler for 1st shift (5:00am - 1:30pm, Monday - Friday) to build conveyor components from blueprints. You will follow supervisor instructions, perform assembly to drawings, and self-inspect for quality.

Candidates should read tape measures, interpret blueprints, and have familiarity with hand and power tools. Prior machine assembly experience and safe operation of equipment are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent preferred; Minimum of 1 year of machine assembly experience.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Read and understand complex blueprints, basic math, use of hand/power tools, and self-inspection techniques.
• English proficiency required; team orientation and adherence to safety and QA policies.

Responsibilities

• Assemble conveyor products from drawings and supervisor instructions.
• Follow work instructions and quality standards; self-inspect for conformance.
• Record assembly status in the computer system; comply with safety rules.
• Assist with overtime as needed; adhere to Daifuku's QMS policies and strive for continuous improvement.
