Job summary

Goshen Engineering is seeking a hands-on Sub Assembly Supervisor to lead the Sub Assembly team within Production, ensuring safe, efficient, and quality-focused completion of subassembly work. You’ll report to the Production Manager and coordinate staffing, workflow, materials, quality, and training to meet drawings and schedules.

You will guide Sub Assembly Technician I-III, monitor progress, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Electrical, and Quality teams to resolve issues and improve

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret production drawings, instructions, specs and measurements.
• Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
• Experience coordinating staffing, priorities, materials, and resources.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise Sub Assembly Technician I-III in the Sub Assembly subdepartment.
• Plan and assign daily subassembly work, staffing, and priorities.
• Review drawings, instructions, specs, and materials to ensure teams have required resources.
• Monitor progress for quality, timeliness, and adherence to schedule.
• Ensure quality checks are performed and documented; address defects and material issues.
• Provide coaching, training, and accountability to team members.
• Coordinate with Production, Electrical Assembly, Quality, Engineering and Materials to resolve issues.
• Resolve or escalate workflow, tooling, and material issues within authority.
• Ensure work areas and tools are organized and safe.
