Responsibilities include adjusting weld parameters, monitoring material quality, and assisting with overhead crane or forklift movements as needed. Shift options include 2nd and 3rd, with a differential.

Qualifications

• No degree required, 3+ years experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and tape measures.
• Forklift training and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Load shafts into Sub Arc Seam Welder and weld seams to form poles.
• Operate welding machine and adjust parameters for quality welds.
• Inspect incoming steel, report substandard material or damage.
• Operate straightener post-weld and use measuring tools to verify specs.
• Assist with crane or forklift movements and follow supervisor instructions.
