Job summary

Chart Industries in Beasley, TX is hiring experienced welders for our Header manufacturing line. This role requires overtime and the ability to pass a 1G Sub Arc test. Welders contribute to the manufacturing of Air Cooled Heat Exchangers and quality welds.

Work is safety‑driven on and off the shop floor with PPE provided; shifts vary and training is available. The team values reliability, accuracy, and adherence to procedures to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years related welding experience required.
• Able to pass 1G Sub Arc test.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
• Able to operate overhead crane.
• Willingness to work different shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal using appropriate welding techniques.
• Lay out, burn holes, fit and weld nozzles.
• Interprets blueprints, diagrams or schematics to determine welding process.
• Inspects welds for structural soundness.
• Promotes safety and production.
• Makes quality visual UT and x-ray welds.
