Job summary

Chart Industries in Beasley, TX is seeking experienced welders for our Header manufacturing line. This role requires the ability to pass a 1G Sub Arc test and work overtime on a fast-paced production floor.

You will join a team fabricating air cooled heat exchangers, reading blueprints, laying out and welding joints, operating overhead cranes, and maintaining safety standards in a challenging environment. Certification or apprenticeship is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years related experience.
• May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty.
• Pass 1G Sub Arc test and demonstrate welding on header components.

Responsibilities

• Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal by welding according to blueprints.
• Lay out, burn holes, fit and weld nozzles.
• Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics for welding processes.
• Inspect welds for structural soundness and quality.
• Promote safety and production on the shop floor.
