Job summary

Regis Corporation seeks a Stylist-In-Training at a Regis salon location in Shelby, OH. You’ll support front desk and operations, help create a welcoming environment, and learn salon practices while preparing to advance to licensed styling.

The program emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and ongoing training, with opportunities to grow within Cost Cutters, Holiday Hair, or Supercuts brands.

Qualifications

• Graduated, or 90 days or less away from graduating from cosmetology school.
• Must maintain a valid cosmetology or barber’s license (or 90 days or less from graduating).
• All Stylists-in-Training are required to complete assigned training as determined by Regis.
• All Supercuts Stylists-in-Training must participate in the Hair Stylist Academy (HSA) program and receive a certificate of completion.

Responsibilities

• Assist with front desk tasks such as scheduling and ticketing promptly.
• Recommend and participate in approved local marketing initiatives.
• Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction and build client loyalty.
• Communicate positively with clients, team members and leadership.
• Attend required technical training sessions and follow salon procedures.
