Job summary

Target is seeking a Style Consultant to help guests discover the joy of everyday life through strong operations, upbeat guest service, and compelling visual merchandising. You will be on the sales floor and in fitting rooms, ensuring the floor is stocked, accurately priced, and easy to shop.

Qualifications

• Strong interest and knowledge of apparel products and accessories.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Effective communication skills.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly.
• Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards and signing.
• Understand sales, inventory ownership, and store tools to support guest needs.
• Sort truck freight and relocate merchandise to the salesfloor based on business needs.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to enhance guest experience.
• Maintain product availability and a full floor through priority and merchandising fills.
• Execute backroom organization and replenishment to support guest requests.
• Remerchandise presentations as items sell through to deliver an inspiring shopping experience for guests.
• Support price change processes with clear signing and merchandising as needed.
• Maintain and use fitting rooms to welcome and assist guests.
• Assist with fulfillment and guest needs by returning merchandise to the salesfloor.
