Qualifications

• Our guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest first culture across the store
• Retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotions strategies and basic visual merchandising
• Industry trends including style, seasonality, and brand differentiation
• Set, fill, and price the floor according to what is most important to the guest

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver a guest-ready floor by executing visual standards and promotional signing
• Leverage store tools to understand sales, inventory ownership, and use to solve guest needs
• Sort truck freight, push freight to the salesfloor, and locate merchandise in the backroom
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience and sales
• Maintain product availability and a full floorpad by executing priority fills
• Execute and maintain backroom organization to support replenishment and guest requests
• Remer merchandise presentations to deliver an inspiring shopping experience
• Support price change processes by executing clearance merchandising best practices
• Maintain and use fitting rooms to welcome and help guests
• Support fulfillment and guest needs by ensuring merchandise from fitting room to salesfloor
• Always demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
• Work safely; comply with safety policies and training; report hazards
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pickup and Drive-up and comply with laws
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and helping with needs
• Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose Target
• All other duties based on business needs
