Job summary

Target is hiring a Style Consultant in Indianapolis. You will engage guests, provide excellent service, and ensure floor readiness with compelling visual merchandising. The role emphasizes strong operations, inventory awareness, and a guest-focused culture.

You will work on the sales floor and fitting rooms, participate in price changes and promotions, and support additional duties such as back-up cashier tasks. A flexible schedule including nights and weekends is common in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering guest service in a retail environment.
• Understanding of department operations, inventory, pricing and promotions.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work with others.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and maintain a guest-ready floor with visual standards.
• Support guest needs using store tools and knowledge of assortment.
• Sort freight, push freight to sales floor, and locate merchandise.
• Set visual presentations and merchandising guides to support guest experience.
• Maintain product availability and floor presence through fills and replenishment.
• Keep backroom organized to support replenishment and guest requests.
• Remerchandise displays as items sell to deliver an inspiring shopping experience.
• Assist with price changes and signing as needed.
• Maintain fitting rooms to welcome and assist guests.
• Support fulfillment and drive-up services while upholding safety policies.
• Help with back-up cashier duties and other responsibilities as needed.
